Story
Most people have something they want to achieve by the time they are 40 and I've been wondering what mine was for a while. A couple of months ago a friend asked me if I fancied running the Brighton Marathon with her in April. With a young family and having never run more than 10k before this seemed like a daft idea, but I've now entered!
My Dad lost his battle against cancer 13 years ago. The race is on 14th April and his birthday was 12th April so it seemed fitting to run it for Cancer Research UK in his memory.
I know we all get asked for sponsorship for lots of things but I can assure you that this will be my one and only marathon!
