Litterpicking in Crawshawbooth · 19 January 2020

Civic Pride (Rossendale) volunteers work tirelessly to remove litter, educate youngsters about its dangers and restore and maintain community gardens including the banking opposite ASDA. To maintain the hanging and barrier baskets alone costs over £4000 per year. Please help us do even more.

Story

Civic Pride Rossendale is improving and maintaining the Jubilee Gardens in the centre of Crawshawbooth. Hanging baskets have been put up and enjoyed by the local community over the summer.  We would now like to put up more hanging baskets planted up with winter colour.

Elaine, one of our Crawshawbooth volunteers, is going to do a litter pick in Crawshawbooth and would like you to support her with donations.  The more money you donate the longer she will litter pick for! And the more money you donate the more baskets and plants we can buy. And there will be a cleaner, litter free Crawshawbooth for them to hang in!

We only need about £120.  If the donations exceed this amount the money will be spent in Crawshawbooth on more plants and shrubs.
