London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

I am running the London Marathon to raise funds for Sue Ryder. This is an amazing charity that is very close to the hearts of both Nick and I.

Sue Ryder looked after my Dad in his final weeks back in 2012 at their Hospice in Nettlebed and we couldn't have asked for more. From the setting and grounds to the fact that he could have his dog Boris by his side, to the amazing and caring nurses that supported both Dad and all the family through such awful times.

More recently, in December 2021, Sue Ryder were again with us to support and care for Nick's Mum Sheila. Sheila was with us at home and the nurses were again fantastic in the care they gave her as well as the guidance and support they gave to the both of us.

So this is my way of giving something back, to thank the teams that have helped us and to raise money so that others can benefit from their fantastic service.

Thank you in advance xx
