I am attempting to run the Great North Run on Sunday 18th September this year. It is a half marathon and further than I have ever run before!

I am running to raise money for Ward 38 at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle. This is the only ward in the country that dedicates itself to stomach cancer. A good friend lost their mum last year to stomach cancer and I am supporting her to run in the event and raise funds in order to raise awareness about this often silent cancer.
