Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm preparing to take part in the March 2018 Himalayan Trail Trek and fundraising for The Surf Project in Ireland and the Kopila Project which is based in the foothills of the Annapurna Range near Pokhara.  Kopila-Nepal is a long term Methodist World Development and Relief partner working amongst the Dalit people who are economically, socially and educationally excluded.  The project provides education and micro finance, especially for women who are particularly disadvantaged.  The Surf Project, based in Portrush, seeks to empower young people all over Ireland to take ownership and responsibility for their life and faith using the sport and culture of surfing.

I have covered all of the expenses for the trip myself.  Therefore all of the money which is donated will be split between the two projects.  Although I have already raised more than the minimum sponsorship requested I am keen to see the funding provided for these worthwhile projects further increased.

If you are a UK tax payer please consider gift aiding your donation.  Gift aid claimed by the Methodist Church against your donation will be split between the two projects.
