Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

A group of us are going to test our minds and tootsies by walking over fire and/or ice (...well BROKEN glass!!) on 10th March in aid of Yorkshire Cat Rescue.

I have opted for the broken glass...this being quite a 'feat' (excuse the pun!) for me as I HATE broken glass and get obsessive about picking up every last shard if ever I break any (comes from having pets all my life I suppose).  So this event is going to be a true test for me...well they say you should get out of your comfort zone every now and again...eek!

You can help Yorkshire Cat Rescue keep its doors open to the many cats & kittens that still desperately need us.

Founded in 1992, Yorkshire Cat Rescue has saved the lives of thousands of cats most at risk in and around Yorkshire.  The rescue centre and foster homes provide the space and support needed for these abandoned animals to recover, thrive and find a loving new home.

Going above and beyond animal welfare remains at the heart of everything Yorkshire Cat Rescue does. As a minimum, all cats and kittens are neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped and treated for worms and fleas before they go to their new homes. But the latest in veterinary care and emergency treatment is also provided whenever needed from dentistry through to emergency C- sections and ground-breaking surgery on kittens with debilitating deformities.

With your help Yorkshire Cat Rescue can continue to relieve the suffering of many cats and kittens, providing the care they need until a better life can be found for them.

Thank you for your support.
