Story

So  I have decided to take on the challenge of running the London Marathon in April 2018, I am running for an amazing place called Saint Francis Hospice and here is why;

In February 2015 our darling brother Cameron formed a squint in his eye, we didn't think it was anything serious, he had to wear special glasses we thought that would rectify the  eye! Little did we know how bad things actually were and how things were going to quickly spiral!

After having an MRI scan Cameron was told he had a pituitary gland tumour, however 90 odd % of these are benign! In May 2015 Cameron had biopsies taken and we were told the devastating news it was cancer:( we were all heartbroken! In June after having a pet scan, we were given even more shocking news that the cancer was now stage 4 and had spread to his back and spine!

Our amazing brave Cameron faced a gruelling round of chemo and radiation, and we all tried to keep positive that this would work and kicks cancers arse, unfortunately the cancer was to fast and strong for our little darling Boy. We were told it was no use but was up to Cameron if he wanted to try another type of chemotherapy, Cammie thought why not and battled on through trying a even stronger chemo, but unfortunately Cammie got sick in October his temperature spiked and he got really sick,  on the 24th October! Little did we know he would not be coming home with us after that day! On Wednesday 28th October we were told that our darling little brother wouldn't last the next 24hours!  It was then my mum and our family decided to move him to the amazing place that is Saint Francis hospice! Cammie sadly lost his fight on Friday 13th November 2015.

Words cannot describe how loved our darling Cameron was and still is, he is missed every minute of the day and our lives will never be the same again. This page has been set up to help raise money for Saint Francis hospice in memory of Cameron, as they were such a comfort and support to not just Cameron but our entire family! He was given thanks to Saint Francis Hospice the chance to die pain free and with dignity and we will forever be indebted to them.
