Charlotte's Charity Hair Chop!

Charlotte's Charity Hair Chop! · 30 November 2017
Hello!
I'm Charlotte, a 20-something from Wales. Everyone who knows me, everyone who's seen a picture of me, knows that I have super long hair. I absolutely love my long hair - it's almost become a part of who I am!
However, there are so many people out there who need hair more than I do.
People who have battled cancer and other illnesses have had to lose their hair, and to have hair again can quite literally change their life.
So that's why I'm chopping mine off.
In 2018, I'm going to have 12 inches (or 30cm) of my hair cut. My hair will be sent to the Little Princess Trust, a charity who makes real hair wigs (for free!) for children in need of one. My hair is so thick and long that I really hope it can help even just one child.
I also want to help the children who are still ill, too. There are too many sick children and every penny helps them get the treatment they need, especially if they're under the care of the NHS. All the money I raise will be donated to Alder Hey Children's Charity in Liverpool.
Even if you can donate £1 (or $1, €1, or whatever you use! Anyone can donate!), it'll all help children and families who really need the support. I hope together we can make a difference!
