Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every year on Charlotte's birthday we try to donate, give back or help as much as we can to show our appreciation and gratitude for Charlotte's another year of healthy and happy life. And to teach her the gift of charity as we have been lucky to have family and friends who supported us and greatly thankful for.

Her first haircut for charity was when she had her 3rd birthday for The Little Princess Trust a charity that makes wigs for children who lost their hair through illnesses or undergoing chemotherapy. When Charlotte had her haircut done on her 5th birthday for Pancreatic Cancer,  UK which her school held a "Wacky Hair Day" to show their support. She inspired fellow students and even teachers to donate their hair and raise funds for charities. On her 7th birthday the 27th of January, 2017 she had her haircut infront of her entire school. She decided to raise funds for St. Luke's Hospice Plymouth as this is where Charlotte's daddy Ellis spent his last days with us. On her 11th birthday on the 27th of January, 2021 she will again have her haircut done and ask for your kindness to help raise funds for St. Luke's Hospice because at these difficult times charities like these are in need of our support in every way, big or small. All her hair donations are sent to The Little Princess Trust.

St. Luke's Hospice Plymouth have been great to Ellis and tend to his needs while he was there. They were accommodating to us, his family and friends who wished to see him and be with him. They even offered their hall for us to celebrate Charlotte's 3rd birthday party if he made it through. They have been very helpful and supportive in those emotional time. This is where Charlotte last saw her Daddy and thought this place was her Daddy's HEAVEN.

Charlotte's daddy, Ellis was diagnosed of late stage Pancreatic Cancer on the 22nd of November, 2012. He spent his last few days at St. Luke's Hospice Plymouth. He sadly passed away on the 24th of January, 2013 three days before Charlotte's 3rd birthday.
