On Sunday 10th June Tony and I are participating in Walk for Whales at Loch Lomond SEA LIFE aquarium!!  The five mile walk will start at the Loch Lomond Aquarium at the impressive Drumkinnon Tower, within Loch Lomond Shores.

 

The money raised will help the International Whaling Committee meetings, build relationships with governments, help to lead international groups to stop a resumption in trade on whale products, run campaigns agaisnt whaling countries and work towards a permanent end to Whaling.

 

"Whaling is cruel, unsustainable and unnecessary. Since the ban was introduced over 30,000 whales have been killed by Japan, Iceland and Norway alone. If the ban is lifted, how many more will die?" (WDCS)
