Story
10 years after my mum passing away I am running the London Marathon for St Wilfrids hospice Chichester. I have entered the ballot many times but never been successful until now. I’m a keen runner and have participated in many events before however haven’t come near marathon distance. I’m really excited and it is great timing for me following having my second child in September 2022, what better way to loose weight!!
I am raising money for the hospice at my own leisure but would love to get as much as I possibly can for them as they provide such a fantastic service that all locals can relate to whether it be someone close to them they have cared for or someone they know that works there.
Im not doing it for an amazing time, but just to make it round and say I have completed it will be great for me and hopefully my mum will be looking down cheering me on! I’ll be using this idea to get me through each wall I hit that’s for sure.
Please donate if you can, nothing is too small and every single penny counts!! I’ll do my best to make everyone proud!
