We are a sexual violence charity providing support to anyone who has experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives. Our ethos is listening, believing and supporting. We relieve the distress of survivors through the provision of trauma-informed services and resources.

Story

In July 2022 I am taking on 100km to raise money for Somerset & Avon Rape & Sexual Abuse Support (SARSAS).

SARSAS are a charity who are really close to my heart. As a former Trustee I know first hand the challenges smaller charities face in raising funds to continue vital work. I also know the power behind the work undertaken at SARSAS and the positive impact it has on so many women and girls who are survivors of sexual violence. I will always stand strong next to survivors and will always listen, believe and support. Please read SARSAS's voice below and donate if you can.

Those involved with SARSAS are amazing but they can't do it without us. Your support means the world to me but more importantly to those women and girls who have been through the unimaginable, who need SARSAS and who are currently on waiting lists.

...

Nothing can erase sexual violence, whenever it happened. But, finding support can make all the difference in learning how to process and heal the symptoms and consequences, prevent future assaults and empower women to reclaim their lives with honesty, dignity and integrity.SARSAS exists to Listen, Believe and Support. We provide confidential services: helpline, live chat, email support, counselling, group work and art therapy.Sadly, we have a waiting list. All donations will help to reduce the time women have to wait for support.
