Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

I lost my dad in May 2012 to heart failure. Losing my dad so suddenly really affected me and my family and turned our world upside down. My dad was such a great man and my hero, losing him was so hard to come to terms with.

This is why i have decided i want to do something positive in memory of my dad, but also to possibly prevent this happen to another family and thats why i have entered the marathon with my boyfriend to raise money for such a fantastic cause. £50 pays a PhD student for 2 hours research. The BHF currently fund around 500 scientists who work in research teams across the UK on projects to better understand how to diagnose, prevent, treat, and cure heart disease.

This will be a massive challenge for Nick and i and anything that you can contribute will be really appreciated.

Thank you :)
