In Feburary of 2010 the father of a good friend sadly passed away after losing his battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Therefore for all of those who have either lost their battle with or are still battling Pancratic Cancer I'm going to undertake the Three Peaks 24 Hour Challenge in June with 6 Friends, in Memory of Neill Smith. All money raised by me will go to Pancreatic Cancer UK.

The Three Peaks 24 Hour Challenge consists of walking 25 miles up and down the three national peaks, Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon, and also traveling 450 miles between them in just 24 hours. We will be taking part in this challenge on June 11th 2012. We would really appreciate any donations.

I am also in training to run the London Marathon 2013.If accepted, I will be running with my friend Katie, this will also be to raise awarness of Pancreatic Cancer.  The London Marathon is a 26 mile course through the streets of London.

Pancreatic Cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers, with only 3% of those diagnosed surviving for more five years. It is also the only form of cancer that has seen no improvments in its survival rate over the past 40 years.
