We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

In April of this year, our dad received the devastating news that there was a chance he had cancer. In June, we had the confirmation which none of us wanted to hear - prostate cancer.

The big "C word" is certainly a scary thing to hear. Every case is different and with it brings a rollercoaster of ups & downs. Prostate cancer is the most common amongst men and awareness of this is vital.

Our dad is really an absolute trooper and fully embracing life with cancer. His first session of chemo saw him go into anaphylactic shock and his biggest concern has been whether he'll grow 'moobs' or suddenly develop a fondness for shopping or ironing - he hasn't yet.

In June 2019, which will be a year on from our Dad’s diagnosis, we will take on the challenge of climbing the three peaks in 24 hours with some of our nearest and dearest as support.

Ourselves and the rest of the team would be so grateful if you could throw some of your hard earned cash at this Just Giving page which will be donated directly to Prostate Cancer.

This is for you, Rob Roy.
