So... We did it and survived to tell the tale!

James sprinted his way around to finish in 49mins which he was pleased with, although he insists that pound for pound he was the overall winner (he's going to kill me for writing that!).  I am very happy with my 1:05:33, very respectable I think and beatable for next time.

I found that I really enjoyed the race and I am even considering the Great North Run for next year - watch this space.  If you'd have told me five years ago that I would be considering such a feat I would have laughed in your face but running does funny things to you!
