On Saturday 08th August (postponed from Saturday 16th May due to "horrible weather" and again on Saturday 27th June due to storms-a-brewing!) I'll be taking part in a tandem skydive at Whitchurch in Shropshire in aid of Railway Children. I'll be jumping at an altitude of 10,000ft and will be freefalling through the air (without the parachute deployed) for several thousand feet! Thankfully I'll be harnessed to a professional parachute instructor at all times (phew!?!). I also get to wear a jumpsuit and helmet - obviously the part I'm most looking forward to!!
