People can do the most amazing things; feats of strength, resilience, determination, stamina, you name it, we can do it or know someone who's been there and got the T-shirt. 

Our friend Alice was amazing; an absolute legend who went through a battle with cancer while the world was locked down from COVID. What we all went through paled in comparison to what she did...and yet, every time I saw her during that time, on the rare occasion that was allowed, she had a big beautiful smile on her face. She's such an inspiration and the main reason I wanted to take on this challenge of running a marathon.

Alice worked hard to create as much awareness for DKMS as she could, because she believed in their mission and how it will help Joe public to become someone's Joe superhero. DKMS are dedicated to the fight against blood cancer & blood disorders and work to create awareness of and recruit blood stem cell donors to provide people with a second chance at life.
