Myself & colleagues from Northamptonshire Police and  will be joining colleagues, families & friends of Police Forces from around the Uk to Light the Lakes in June 2022. On the evening of the 17th of June we will ascend to the summit of Skiddaw arriving hopefully just as the sun disappears below the horizon. At 3am on Saturday the 18th, teams will light blue flares on each of their chosen peaks in memory of colleagues.

Care of Police Survivors (COPS) is a UK registered charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers who have lost their lives whilst on duty. They aim to ensure that survivors have all the help they need to cope with such a tragedy, and that they remain part of the police family as they rebuild their lives.
