Junior School sponsored walk · 18 February 2022

Bumblebees are in decline because of a loss of their habitats. Our landscape is changing, over 97% of the UK's grasslands have been lost in the past 70 years. We work to put much needed flowers back into the countryside to benefit our bumblebees and other wildlife.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

One of the charities chosen by the School Council in the Junior School is the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. Bumblebees are familiar and much-loved insects that pollinate our crops and wildflowers. The Bumblebee Conservation Trust has a vision to create a world where bumblebees are thriving and valued. Their mission is to increase the number and distribution of bumblebees.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Our original plans for a sponsored walk have been overtaken by the arrival of Storm Eunice! We are now taking part in a whole school sponsored Ballathon...
