Marie Curie Hospice, West Midlands provides expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families.

Story

Hello!

Marie Curie hospice has been a part of our lives now for 4 months, the care and support they have given to our Dad/Grandad and my family over this time is beyond belief. Nothing is ever too much.

There is no way we could ever begin to repay the staff for their hard work each day, they’re true angels. Knowing that he is so safe and well looked after means the world to us and we’ll be forever indebted.

In March, for the Great Daffodil Appeal myself and members of my family  will be clocking up at least 10,000 steps each, a day to raise money for Marie Curie Hospice Solihull.

Any donation is greatly appreciated, we hope that we can help put money towards someone else’s family being supported through very hard times.

I’ll figure out how to link a step counter soon so you can see the progress.

Thank you.

Xx

Our Solihull Hospice has been caring for local people since 1965.Its a warm and welcoming place where we give expert care to people with a terminal illness, and their loved ones, every day of the year. Our hospice team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers and many more, and is supported by over 200 volunteers who play a vital role in the running of the hospice. We have a 24-bed in-patient unit, where relatives and friends can visit any time of the day or night, and stay with their loved ones if they wish. Our out-patient unit offers clinics, therapies and group sessions and freshly cooked lunches made by our chefs. We also support carers and families, including children, with practical advice, counselling and bereavement support groups. We need to raise £9,600 per day to run the hospice, so every penny counts. Thank you for helping to make sure more people with a terminal illness in Solihull get the care and support they need.
