Weve been inspired by our Saluki cross, Susie and her incredible resilience. Susie was found limping through a petrol station forecourt with socks tied so tightly round three of her legs they had caused wounds so deep they went down to the bone. Her fourth leg was broken and had started to heal in the wrong position. She was emaciated and had skin issues. Thankfully, after two months of love and rehabilitation she is a different dog. She has gained weight and the light is back in her eyes. Her wounds are virtually healed; however her broken leg had healed in the wrong position and the best thing for her was amputation. She has adapted brilliantly to having just three legs. We are thankful that she is now happy, safe and set to have her best ever Christmas! Please help more animals like Susie.
