RSPCA Big Walkies 2018 · 1 June 2018

Each year the Central London Branch of the RSPCA helps around 1,500 cats, dogs, rabbits and other animals. One of our main activities is running a cat neutering scheme, which helps people who cannot afford vets' fees, to have their animals neutered. This service is available in the Greater London area, with the support of other RSPCA branches and other charities. We also do as much as we can to help animals in distress, and find them permanent or temporary homes. We are a separate charity from RSPCA Headquarters with responsibility for raising funds to pay for the work that we do. We constantly apply our funds to help as many animals as possible in the Branch area.

Story

Hey!

Me and Marley have decided to take part in this years RSPCA My Big Walkies 2018!
Starting the 1st of June until the 30th.

Every day we have to walk 10,000 steps together without fail.
How far is 10,000 steps? An average person has a stride length of approximately 2.1 to 2.5 feet. That means that it takes over 2,000 steps to walk one mile; and 10,000 steps would be almost 5 miles.

Our chosen charity is the RSPCA central, west and north east London branch.
If interested feel free to check their Facebook or website out!
As a self-funding branch your donations are invaluable; every penny helps to assist an animal in need. Last year they helped over 1,500 animals in central London.

I’m hoping to hit my target if not more so I would very much appreciate any donations not matter how big or small or even just sharing my page will help a lot as well!

Thank you;
I will keep you updated with our walking Journeys.
