I have worked as a bowel cancer support nurse for the last 9 months and have been involved directly with people who have recovered from bowel cancer and sadly people who have not survived. My 9 months in this job has been a rollercoaster of emotions and I would like to show my support to Bowel Cancer patients and their loved ones by raising money for Bowel Cancer UK. 

Bowel Cancer UK are the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity- they provide expert information, support patients and families, fund targeted research and provide education to the public and healthcare professionals about the disease. They campaign for early diagnosis and access to the best treatment and care. 

I am terrified of heights and am absolutely NOT an adrenaline junkie. I have butterflies writing this but I am going to SKYDIVE(date TBC) and hopefully with the support of my friends, family and colleagues I can raise a good amount of money to help stop people dying of bowel cancer.
