Story

My family was devastated after the loss of my Uncle Michael who passed away in July 2000 at the age of 36 after suffering from a Brain Tumour.

My Nanna experienced the pain and grief that no mother should ever have to endure after loosing the eldest of her 5 children.

A big hole had been left in our lives, and when we thought that things couldn't get much worse, they did.

Suddenly on the 17th March 2014, my Auntie Vicky passed away after suffering from a Brain Tumour aged 34, Vicky was the youngest out of my Nanna's 5 children.

Vicky was 8 months pregnant at the time and instead of celebrating the birth of her first child we was mourning the loss of them both

I will be completing The Great Manchester Run in their memory, but also to raise awareness and funds for The Brain Tumour Charity so that other families don't have to suffer like we have.
