"Hi, My Name is Chenille. I am 13 years old from Chesterfield. Hope you are all stay safe and well.  I have spoken to my Mum on what I want to do and I want to do something AMAZING. I want to shave my 24 inches long hair. My Mum was SHOCKED and didn't want me to do it. She expected me to have it in a Bob. With a big grin on my face, I said "Nnnno!" My Mum replied with her eyes wide open "How Short?" I said, "I want to shave to No.8" I asked Mum if she could shave my hair for me as there is no hairdresser's open due to Lockdown and she agreed!

I want to raise money for two good causes..

NHS Charities and The Princess Trust Fund (This is where I will donate my hair to)

NHS Charities "supporting NHS Staff and Volunteers caring for COVID-19 Patients across the Country. The money raised is funding grants to help NHS Charities to support NHS Staff, Volunteers and Patients in ways above and beyond what NHS Funding can ordinarily provide including, Wellbeing Packs, Rest & Recuperation Rooms, Electronic Tablets for Isolated Patients to communicate to loved ones. The funds will resource vital care partnerships and longer term mental health recovery of Staff and Families."

The Little Princess Trust "provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. Just like Hannah who was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumour. Hannah loved her hair and losing it was very traumatic for her. Her parents, Wendy and Simon, searched high and low to find a wig suitable for Hannah, during her treatment. When they found one, its had a hugely positive effect on Hannah. Sadly, Hannah passed away in 2005 and with so many kind offers of financial and practical help, Wendy and Simon felt the most fitting tribute would be to launch a charity dedicated to providing real hair wigs for children and young people. We use hair donations and fundraising monies sent us by our amazing supporters, to manufacture and fit our beautiful real hair wigs".

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.

There will be 2 Just Giving Website one for NHS Charity and The Little Princess Trust. You can donate either one or both if you wish.
