Story

On 15th March 2017, my niece Sophie was born one month premature and weighing only 3lb 3oz. To get the care and help she needed, Sophie was kept on the Special Care Baby Unit at Hinchingbrooke for two weeks whilst she grew in strength.

On 15th December 2018, my nephew James was 5 days old when he was admitted back into hospital in a critical condition. James was diagnosed with meningitis, and was looked after by Holly Ward and the Special Care Baby Unit at Hinchingbrooke Hospital for 11 days.

The support, professionalism, care and love shown to my niece, nephew and my family can never be underestimated. To thank them for their tireless and unwavering work, I have chosen to run my first ever marathon on Monday 6th May, to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

The Special Care Baby Unit were there when my family needed them the most, so please give generously to this amazing cause, so they can continue being there for other families at their lowest.
