London Marathon 2018
Campaign by Brain Tumour Research (RCN 1153487 (England & Wales), SC046840 (Scotland))
As the jewel in the UK running crown, the Marathon has a reputation for being one of the most meaningful events in the challenge calendar.

Story

Running the London Marathon is on my bucket list of things to achieve before I am 30 (in 2019!) What better way to do this than for an incredible Charity- 'Brain Tumour Research'.

In 2012 my twin sister Danielle was diagnosed with a Cerebellar Haemangioblastoma. She underwent several 8-9 hour operations and following complications has a Ventricular Shunt which she will have for life.

It's a sad fact that Brain Tumours can effect anyone at any time. Danielle has been tested all clear for 5 years now but I know people who have not been so lucky.

I will be running the London Marathon with Ian Dickson (Danielle's boyfriend).

I hope our efforts will help raise awareness for this dreadful and harrowing disease and draw attention to the under-funding of research.
