British 10k London Run 2007 · 1 July 2007 ·

The Connection at St Martin’s is here to be with people as they recover from life on the streets and move on to meaningful, fulfilling futures and a place to call home. We work with people, not for them, and put every individual person at the centre of their recovery.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

This is the first year we are able to offer one of our young clients the opportunity to run and take part in this this year's British 10k and help raise money for The Connection at St Martin's. Chernet has been known to us for 9 months and is currently living in a hostel. As his resettlement support worker at The Connection at St Martin's I am working with him to support him in his move to independent living. Chernet is genuinely excited to be part of the British 10k and I would like wish him lots of luck with this event. If you are interested in sponsoring Chernet and helping to raise £200 towards our work here at The Connection at St Martin's then please do sponsor him below.

'My name is Chernet, I am 19 years old, I am very happy to be given the chance to run the 10k & help raise money for The Connection at St Martin's. The Connection at St Martin's have been very good to me & it will be nice to help raise money for them. I enjoy running as it makes me feel good, also I am very good & I am sure I will do it in a very fast time''

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Connection at St Martin's will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now, any small amount will be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks for your support.
