On our recent walks around Bristol, Cherry noticed the amount of people on the streets asking for money to get food / a bed for the night. We talked about why some people might find themselves without a place to stay and what a struggle life must be when you don't have the security of a home. We also noticed people collecting money on behalf of charities and Cherry asked whether she would be able to raise some money to help too.

We thought that was an excellent idea and, after a little research, we discovered that Centrepoint (a charity who help give young homeless people a future) was holding a fundraising event that spoke to Cherry's heart *and* tummy... and so we'd like to invite you to join us for The Big Broth!

THE BIG BROTH

On Saturday 3rd November, we'll be cooking up some big pots of warming soup and laying on plenty of yummy toppings to create a smiley face on top of every bowl we serve. In exchange for this delicious bowl of loveliness, we ask that you make a donation to Centrepoint.

We will be welcoming visitors to our kitchen at home between 12pm and 3pm on 3rd November. It'd be great if you could let us know in advance if you plan to pop in so we know how much food we'll need.

Cherry wanted to raise £100 for Centrepoint. She hit that target within 24 hours (amazing!) then updated targets of £200... £300... £400... £500... £600... £700... £800... £900... £1,000 and now hopes to get to £1,150.
