We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for Cancer Research UK.

I ran/walked the Great South Run in 2018 with the NACWL team to raise money in memory of Louise Bradley a colleague and friend who lost her brave battle to cancer a few months earlier.

After GSR I started to take my fitness more seriously.  Thanks to the amazing team at Knott Kinetics https://knottkinetics.co.uk for the last year I've been regularly running 5k Parkruns and also completed a couple of 10k races.

So this year I am running the Great South Run with the aim of beating my 2018 time of 2 hours 19 mins.

I'm again running as part of the NACWL team who are also fundraising for a local charity called ‘The Roberts Centre’ - The Roberts Centre works with vulnerable children and families in Portsmouth, Havant and Gosport who are struggling to improve their family’s difficult circumstances whether from homelessness or family breakdown.

Anything I raise from your kind donations will go towards Cancer Research UK, and their work for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the big C!

Thank you for visiting my page and if you can donate, no matter how small a sum I am incredibly grateful and it will motivate me as I run around Portsmouth

Don't forget if you are eligible for Gift Aid, this will increase the total raised.
