Each year SAS Daniels nominate a charity of the year and hold various events throughout the year to raise funds.

This year, we have nominated The Christie to support our colleague Paul Tyrer whose wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer in October of last year.

Paul's wife is currently receiving palliative care at The Christie and their amazing work is not only supporting Paul, his wife and their children through through this unimaginably difficult time but ultimately the chemotherapy is giving them more time as a family.

None of us are your stereotypical 'adrenaline junkie' and to say that this challenge will push us our of our comfort zone is a massive understatement! We are absolutely terrified.

We realise that times are tough financially for many but if you can afford to donate to this very worthy cause we would be extremely grateful.
