Story
Hi all,
I’m Cheryl and I am 59 years old, I have recently been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, I have been told it’s curable, however it is going to be a long hard journey of treatment and surgery to get through first.
Unfortunately cancer doesn’t give you much choice or control about how things happen, but this is where I am taking control!
During chemotherapy I have been told I will lose my hair, so I am choosing to Brave the Shave but I am not only raising money for Macmillan, I will also donating my hair to The Little Princesses Trust to make a difference and help create wigs for children who have/will suffer from medically induced hair loss.
Any donations, no matter how small would make a massive difference.
Just a quick thank you for taking the time to read.
