Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On the 9th May, Cameron (9 years old) and Lauren (7 years old) and I are participating in a 10 Km walk in the South Downs as part of Just Walk 2015, to raise money for the charity, Reverse Rett.
We have joined together with dear friends of ours, who's eldest child Rianna was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome to raise money and awareness for the Rett Syndrome Research Trust.
If you know myself or my daughter, you will know we don't take to exercise lightly ;-)...so please give anything you can, however small, to help us find a cure for Rett.
About Rett Syndome:
Rett Syndrome is a debilitating disorder which most often strikes previously healthy little girls just after they have learned to walk and say a few words and begins to drag their development backwards.
Over time, girls who have learned to walk often lose that ability as well. Loss of motor control sets in, essentially locking these girls into bodies that won't work, leaving them without the ability to make purposeful movements.
The
Reverse Rett charity aims to speed treatments and a cure for Rett syndrome, for
