Almost 1 in 2 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. This statistic still shocks me 😔



Like so many, I’ve lost loved ones to this disease. My gran, aunts, uncles, friends have all battled, some have won but sadly most have lost. Cancer is a horrid disease that does not discriminate.



Most recently we said our last goodbye to my mother in law, the only parental figure me and my husband had left, and one of the strongest, most courageous women I knew.

On 6th September 2025 at Fairfield Community Sports Hub, my team will again be taking it in turns to walk laps for 12 hours to raise as much money as we can for Cancer Research. This year we’re doing it in your honour Margaret.
