Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Cheryl's JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving will continue Cheryl's main wish, here is her story:

In July 2012 Cheryl was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer. Although this was devastating news we were all giving hope. She was taken to The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and told of a new treatment which although still in it's trial stage has been hearlded as the biggest breakthrough in skin cancer research for 30 years. This drug "Dabrafenib" or as Cheryl called it "WONDER DRUG" was prescribed to Cheryl although initially shrinking the disease it proved to be far to aggressive.

Cheryl sadly but peacefully past away at The Beatson surrounded by loved one's on 11/10/12, this JustGiving page was set up as Cheryl's wish to fund further research into the new "WONDER DRUG"

So please dig deep and donate now.
