Story

For 2023, Cheshire Pub Co. have chosen to raise funds for and support the work of the incredible NSPCC organisation.

On Monday, 11th September 2023 a team from the Cheshire Pub Co. pubs and places will climb Cheshire's three tallest peaks.

This classic cheshire challenge, set in high country on the west edge of the Peak District National Park, involves a circuit of three Cheshire Peaks – Tegg's Nose (370m), Shining Tor (559m) and Shutlingsloe (506m). The challenge will set off around 8am and will take approx eight hours (inclusive of lunch and rest stops).

Why The NSPCC

After working alongside their friendly, dedicated Cheshire based events team in 2022, their support, warm hearts, organisation and drive to raise awareness and funds for such an important cause has been an inspiration to our team. And so, we've decided to pledge our fundraising efforts to them for 2023

Our fundraising will help programmes such as the Childline which all year around receives a call from a child in need every 25 seconds. While the call is free for a child, it costs the service approximately £4 to take the call and provide their expert support which ultimately saves lives.

All year around, The NSPCC help children who have been abused, protect children at risk and find the best ways to prevent child abuse from ever happening again.

Who We Are

The Cheshire Pub Co. portfolio consists of eight (by April) places which are passionate about great food and drink served in a cosy atmosphere, with great service. They include, The Frozen Mop, Mobberley, The Ship Inn, Styal, The Churchill Tree on the Alderley Park estate near Alderley Edge, the Crown and Conspirator, and vegan venture Otto Vegan Empire, both in Bramhall Village. Recently, the launch of The Space Invader in the quaint village of Goostrey and the Cock O’ Budworth in the beautiful village of Great Budworth has seen the growth for the group reach out further afield towards the west of Cheshire.

Plus, coming soon to the village of Tarporley, a new bistro concept set to be the first of its kind for the group.

Cheshire Pub Co. wouldn't be what it was without the support from its local villages and surrounding areas, and so in light of this, each year we allocate our time to fundraising for great causes, which makes a difference to our local villages and villagers.

Please show your support by donating now. So many people, including our team, the NSPCC and the children you'll save are already grateful for your donation.
