Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. We're making Time for a Cuppa to fundraise for Dementia UK and help even more families receive the life-changing emotional and practical support of dementia specialist Admiral Nurses.

About Dementia UK and Admiral Nurses:  We are Dementia UK the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, are here to help when people need it most. They work in the community, in NHS hospitals and GP surgeries, on the free Dementia Helpline and in clinics. They provide life-changing support for families living with all forms of dementia including Alzheimers disease. When families are feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and alone, Admiral Nurses are on hand with compassionate, expert support and advice. They help families facing dementia have the best life possible, for as long as possible. We want every family affected by dementia to have the support of an Admiral Nurse but right now, we cannot reach everyone who needs us.
