Story

We will be Jingling on our 5km jog in memory of our beautiful, brave, loving mum, Eileen Evans ❤ We want to help raise money for Blythe house hospice at home . They are truly amazing and we don't know what we would have done without their invaluable help, kindness, care and support. Their reassuring presence during the night, the comfort just knowing they were there, the geniune care and compassion mum recieved from the carers and staff from Blythe house was just incredible and it will never be forgotten. They helped us to fulfil mums wishes to remain in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family, and we truly cannot thank them enough.

Please can you help us to raise money for Blythe house hospice at home, every little helps and enables them to continue the most wonderful and invaliable work they do in caring and supporting patients with life-limiting illnesses, enabling them to remain in the comfort of their own homes surrounded by their loved ones ❤

Thanks you.

Through its Hospice at Home service and Community Hub, Blythe House Hospicecare provides at-home care, complementary and physio therapies, family support, rehabilitation services, clinics and counselling to those in our community who are affected by life-limiting illnesses including cancer, lung conditions, heart failure and progressive neurological conditions. The care and support Blythe House provides remains completely free of charge. By taking part in the Jingle Bell Jog Reimagined, I am supporting Blythe House Hospice to continue to provide this much needed care. By sponsoring me you could contribute to the following:£50 would pay for three hours Hospice at Home care for someone in their last weeks of life.£100 would pay for half a days physiotherapy for a patient struggling with mobility as a result of their illness.£150 would pay for 5 counselling sessions for a bereaved child at one of the hardest times of their life.
