Story

The Chichester Dragon Boat Challenge began in 2012 and is run by the Rotary Club of Chichester Priory in partnership with the local charity CancerWise. The event takes place on the beautiful Chichester canal. The primary objective of the dragon boat race is to have fun while fundraising for the nominated charities. The net proceeds of the event will be divided between CancerWise and charities supported by the Rotary Club of Chichester Priory. About our nominated charitiesThe Rotary Club of Chichester Priory supports a broad range of projects in the local area. Youth groups, disabled schools and clubs, charities supporting vulnerable young people, local hospices and specific activities such as the local heat of Rotary Young Chef.CancerWise is dedicated to helping anyone with cancer, together with their families and carers in their day-to-day lives. CancerWise provides clients with a wide range of free therapies, creative activities, counselling and information.
