Dear friends and supporters of Children of the Forest (www.childrenoftheforest.org). Thank you sincerely for your support and kindness in 2019. All of us at Children of the Forest feel very proud of what has been achieved this year. Across our education, child protection and health care programs hundreds of children have been profoundly helped. This Christmas these children are safer, happier, healthier and more secure than they were a year ago and of course each of them is a year closer to achieving their education goals, their dreams to become citizens of Thailand. These wonderful results are largely thanks to you. As well as the hundreds of children mentioned your generosity has allowed us to reach out to assist children and families displaced during the November 2019 fighting between the Mon Army and Myanmar government forces. But there is still much to do. So many children hoping to continue their education in 2020. So many single mothers who will need our help to keep their families safe and together and more who will seek our help as they all continue the struggle to leave statelessness behind and to become citizens with the rights and opportunities that many of us enjoy.
