NDCS 24 Peaks Challenge 2010 · 18 September 2010 ·

Railway Children has a vision of a world in which no child is lost to the streets. Across the UK, India and Tanzania, our networks provide an opportunity for us to reach children who are alone and vulnerable before they come to serious harm. Together, we’re determined we’ll leave no child behind.

Story

Thank you for visiting the Chiltern Railways and Wrexham & Shropshire fundraising page.

In September 2010, a joint Chiltern Railways and Wrexham & Shropshire team is entering the 24 Peaks Challenge endurance event, competing on behalf of Railway Children.

The 24 Peaks Challenge is a test of strength and endurance. The team will climb 24 peaks over 2,400 feet, including Great Gable, Helvellyn and Scafell Pike, over 24 hours in the Lake District. The height gain is equal to half of Mount Everest.

The team has committed to raising £4000 for Railway Children by competing in this event.
