After our parents, we owe so much to our teachers. They taught us about Allah, His Rasool(saw) and Quran. I recently lost an old teacher, Hafiz Yusuf Kola of Caledonian Road, Dewsbury. I thought what I can do in his memory and for his essale sawab?  

I decided to set myself a personal challenge of raising money in Hafez sab’s name for a good cause which was so close to his heart. I aim to run a total of 130km in the blessed month of Ramadan whilst fasting. I will be tracking my runs via the Nike app and posting updates here. 

All the donations you make will go towards the Hafez Yusuf Kola Memorial Appeal. This has been set up by Masjid Al Hidayah at the request of his family to continue his legacy. Hafez Sab dedicated his life to his local masjid and all the money will be used to complete the extension of the masjid. This is a cause for which Hafez sab gave everything including a part of his garden. I am blessed to be able to be part of it and you can too.
