London to Brighton Challenge 2023 · 27 May 2023 to 28 May 2023 ·

1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. At Prostate Cancer UK, we’re giving every man the power to navigate it. With over £100 million invested in research, treatment, and care, we’re building a future where prostate cancer no longer cuts men’s lives short. Together, we can help save men’s lives.

Story

My father and five very dear uncles died from prostate cancer. This makes this challenge and cause very dear to my heart. Raising this awareness and funds will support the great work that Prostate Cancer UK does to defeat this heart rending cancer.

With my friends, we are participating in The London to Brighton 100KM Ultra Challenge Event to fundraise for this incredible Charity because prostate cancer is a condition that affects men in their middle and old age and disproportionately affects Afro-Caribbean men.

Last time I took on this challenge, I raised funds for Mind UK and Mind in Mid Herts. It feels great taking on this challenge one more time and this time in support of Prostate Cancer UK.

I am excited to support the amazing work that Prostate Cancer UK does and contribute towards their mission to make a positive impact on society.
