Story
I did it!
Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me to date. The walk was tough and at times I felt really low. I can honestly say that it was your support that got me through the 26 miles.
So thank you for giving me the extra strength I needed.
After 6 hrs and 35 minutes Heather and crossed the finish line, arm in arm with big smiles on our faces.
Before the walk started Heather and I were siting in the hotel reception area talking about what time we wanted to complete the walk in. We got talking to a guy who was also taking part in the walk. He lost his wife to breast cancer last year. That for me brought it all home. Our time didn't matter. Taking part did. I'm still totaling up all my sponsorship money. So far I think I raised about £400 for Walk the Walk. So thank you. Your donation will go towards helping those affected by breast cancer.
For those who haven't sponsored me yet, there's still time.
Many thanks
