Story
We are taking part in the Scouse 5K in memory of all the loved ones that have lost their battle to cancer.
Although not treated at Clatterbridge, Emily & Jess have lost an amazing Uncle, a Superhero Nan and a lovely Grandad, and Andy a beloved Brother-In-Law, fantastic Mother-In-Law and his brilliant Dad all to cancer.
We run in loving memory of David Chittenden, Dave Howarth and Freda Howarth.
We run to celebrate their amazing lives and the impact that they had on us. We run in the hope of raising money to help Clatterbridge support other families who are suffering through the nightmare of cancer treatment, and aid their research to find a cure.
Please all donate anything you can.
Thank you!
UPDATE: Gill & Luke are now also taking part in the 5K!
The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is the only dedicated charity for patients and research at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
By choosing to support our charity, you will help us to improve patient experience, fund vital research, the latest therapies and innovations in cancer treatment.
We’re now embarking on a journey to transform cancer care across Merseyside and Cheshire, by building a brand new specialist cancer hospital in the centre of Liverpool, as well as significantly investing in our Wirral site.
