Chloe's Great Run

Great Manchester Run 2018 · 20 May 2018 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year I decided to take part in The Great Manchester 10K Run... Ahhhhh! However, it is well worth the challenge as I shall be raising money for The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
Back in 2015 I suffered from a rare infection on the brain called Encephalitis. This happened just before I was due to sit my GCSE exams, and whilst I was in Hospital there was doubt that I would even make it back to school. But now here I am three years on in my first year of University. The care treatment and care I received in Hospital was phenomenal, and I cannot thank those doctors and nurses enough for saving my life. More recently, at the end of 2017 my sister was treated in hospital too, and it was after this incident that I thought I could do something to make a bit of a difference, hence the reason why I decided to do the run.
The RMCH has saved both mine and my sisters lives, and for that I will forever be thankful.
Now I need your help! Please donate anything you can, my goal is to reach £200 and every penny counts. By donating you will be helping to fund the excellent research, treatment and care that helps so many children each year.
The running shoes are out, training has begun, bring on the May 20th!
