We are a group of undergraduate students who are currently taking part in the £10 challenge to support the John van Geest Cancer Research Centre, as a project for Nottingham Trent University. This is where we are given £10 and have to try our best to turn this into as much money as possible. We are aiming to raise as much money as we can by hosting a bake sale in the university where we are going to kindly ask for donations from local businesses, whilst also taking the time to bake our own cakes. However, we will appreciate any donations made on this page tremendously! Once you donate, all donations go straight to the charity. 

Although some of our group members are lucky enough to have not had to go through such trauma of a family member/friend suffering from cancer, some of us have. Cancer is something that is affecting people each day and we really want to do something to help fight this terrible illness. Justin, who is our student mentor is unfortunately experiencing a difficult time in his life right now as his auntie fight's leukaemia for the second time. He has also experienced a terrible loss of his grandmother who suffered from stomach cancer, so this project is something that really means a lot to Justin. 

This is something that means a lot to all of us as a group and is something very personal and close to our hearts. So please, lets help fight cancer together! ❤
