London to Brighton Cycle 2014 · 7 September 2014 ·

Every year 61000 people die from rabies. 99% of cases of human rabies are caused by dog bites. Our team of vets vaccinate the dog population of Jaipur to control rabies and prevent spread to humans. We also run veterinary clinics treating working horses, donkeys, camels, cows and wildlife.

Story

We are going to Jaipur, India in February 2015 to volunteer for 'Help in Suffering' - a charity that helps sick and injured animals as well as vaccinating against rabies and neutering street dogs.  The work they have done has meant no-one in Jaipur has contracted rabies in the last 3 years.  We want to raise as much money as we can so they can continue their great work!
