Story
When my husband Kurt needed a Bone Marrow Transplant in 2016, Anthony Nolan were amazing. They found an incredible donor in the UK willing to donate stem cells to save Kurts life. This procedure gave Kurt a future and he lived his life to the full, as he always did. Kurt passed his motorbike test, learnt to scuba dive and above all he became a Grandad. We made amazing memories with our family and friends.
Sadly 5 years post transplant Kurt’s cancer came back and this time the doctors said it was untreatable. He lost his fight in August 2021.
During the 5 years since Kurt had the Bone Marrow Transplant he accomplished so much, including running The Great North Run three times, which we did together.. This year I’ll be running in Kurt’s memory and to say thank you to Anthony Nolan for all they did for my gorgeous and brilliant husband.
Please support me if you can, in memory of the love of my life Kurt Patrick Hobbs 15.03.1965 - 22.08.2021 who will always be loved and missed ❤️
